do you have any annual perades you go to in your town? you could walk a shelter dog in that, or a fair? get a booth and put up posters, hold a raffle with 1$ a ticket or somthing

You could make cupcakes.
I know a few people who have done cupcake things for charity and its been really sucessful.

The bright icing, with the little ball things, and the hundreds and thousands and cream, with snakes and other lollies on there etc.

if you’re creative you could sell homemade jewelry or dogs collars, or dog bandanas etc.

I am actually organising the same thing at the moment for my animal rights website for when the weather gets warmer here! I have gone to the local council and am organising a few drives… One of them is a dog walk where people register themselves and their dogs and pay a small fee to participate (people can donate as much as they’d like, but must make a donation). The second is a picnic and adoption drive in the park. We have the local shelter coming down to the park with a few dogs and cats which need rehoming and are having a big sausage sizzle. All money raised in the sausage sizzle will go to animal shelters and hopefully some animals will get adopted! We will also be signing government petitions to have the minimum care requirements for animals raised and also for harsher punishment for animal cruelty offenders.
These are all things I am working on with the local council, so be aware that you need the council on board and you also need the support of a few people in the community to help.
I have also made posters and collection jars and gone around to the local businesses and asked if they’d be willing to have them at their store counter. Everyone has agreed so far so I am very excited about that!

locals here in my community had a ‘car & dog’ wash at the animal shelter couple of weeks ago, then had an outdoor “gospel singing” under a big pavilion at out local camper /motor home dealership that is #1 in the nation. Raised 0in excess of $ 2500.00 ( Here in the south, “gospel singings” are real popular and bring out big crowds)

I recommend laundry duty. If you live in a dorm, offer to wash people’s clothes for a small fee, since no one likes to do laundry. This is a great way to make a lot of money, because if you do it right, you’ll actually be asked to do it more and more! Laziness is a great characteristic to exploit! LOL

What are you studying? Are you good at it? A great way to make money in college is to be a tutor. The subject matter is fresh in you mind and you have great access to materials and a place to do it (the college library).
