How do you get your blog traffic and commented on?
I have started a new blog on Word Press and am new at the whole experience. I am not able to get any responses or traffic. I do not want it to be family and friends, but rather the blogging community. Any suggestions? I commented and subscribed to others.

You have to have quality conten; what are you talking about on your blog? Are people looking for your topic?Do your research on Google by typing “how to” this tells you what people are searching for answers for.

Before you end your blog, make sure you tell your readers what you want them to do eg. comment, subscribe to rss, like. It will not guarantee that they will but I’m sure a certain percentage will.

What is the best and effective strategy to get traffic to your blog?
I would like to know what ways there are to generate traffic to a blog.I know of some ways but I would like to find a working method to generate at least 200 visitors per day.

Do regular seo on your blog. Regularly add post to your blog. Remember content is king. So try to write big article (500-800 words). Use google adwords tool and add related keywords to your blog post. It should not look like spam article so keep article post between 500-800 words. In off page, article submission is very very effective. So regular article submission and blog posting will increase traffic on your blog.

There’s a ton of ways to get website traffic to your blog, here’s a number of them:

1.) Article Marketing – this is THE time tested method that will get you exactly what you’re seeking… web site traffic but even better, it’s TARGETED website traffic because these are individuals who have read your article and who have apparently liked it enough to click through your resource box to see what else you have to offer at your blog.

2.) Forums – search on your favorite search engine for forums related to your blog’s niche or topic and join them. Every time you post, comment or reply to someone else’s post you will begin to generate backlinks and ultimately more web traffic to your blog.
